I thought I'd try an art journal page using this sketch.

I don't consider myself a traditional scrapper, but thought it was time

 to bust out a good old layout for this issue (and honestly, time to use up some stash!)

I've been participating in the challenges for A Year in the Life of an Art Journal, in conjunction with Monday Mugshots, where you take a pic of your mug on Mondays throughout the year. I'm enjoying it as a fun way to document my year.

For this layout, I used some Amy Tangerine/American Crafts,

 Glitz Color Me Happy, and a little Panda Eight flair! 

I used two different sizes of the Persnickety Prints (2x2 and 3x3).

Plus, I've been trying

to figure out a fun way to use those straws, 

so I thought using them as letters might just work!
